Now that your Windows password has been changed, you must use your new password to log in to Windows from this point forward.

Another option is to create a Windows password reset disk. While not a required part of changing your password, we highly recommend that you do this.
You do not need to create a new password reset disk if you already have one. Your previously created password reset disk will work no matter how many times you change your Windows password.
Change The Login Password On Mac
Its important to change your login password from time to time to protect your privacy.
Note: Your login password is the password you enter to unlock your Mac when you turn it on or wake it from sleep. It is not your Apple ID password, which provides access to the iTunes Store, App Store, Apple Books, iCloud, and other Apple services.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups .

Enter your current password in the Old Password field.
Enter your new password in the New Password field, then enter it again in the Verify field.
For help choosing a secure password, click the Key button next to the New Password field.
Enter a hint to help you remember the password.
The hint appears if you enter the wrong password three consecutive times, or if you click the question mark in the password field in the login window.
Windows 7 Windows Vista And Windows Xp
Select Start and thenâ Control Panel.
Choose User Accounts and Family Safety if you’re using Windows 7.
If you’re using Windows XP , this link is instead called User Accounts.
If you’re viewing the Large icons, Small icons, or Classic view of Control Panel, you won’t see this link. Simply choose User Accounts and proceed to Step 4.

In the Make changes to your user account area of the User Accounts window, choose Change your password.

How Do I Set Up Account Alerts

- Your new Apple ID password must contain at least eight characters, a number, an uppercase letter, and a lowercase letter.
