It seems to me like the statement reads that the Family Version supports family Sharing because it says so. But after buying the app, and setting up family sharing, no subscription for Word for Mac was there under supported apps and services under Family Sharing in System Preferences. No, the statement which starts out says “Supports Family Sharing? goes on to say that some third party softare don’t suport Family Sharing! How confusing. Well, once I downloaded the Word for Mac on my wife’MacBook Pro, I signed into a Microsoft account within Word for Mac and that is where the license to run the app on my wife’s MacBook Pro was granted.
