All in all, though, were looking at solid results, with 60+ fps across most titles at FHD resolution and Maximum graphics details. Youll surely have to cut down on those details in some of the demanding 2021 games, but even so, this configuration is competitive for FHD gaming.

How We Test Laptops
When we bring a laptop into our labs, it’s our goal to simulate tests that would tell us how well the laptop will perform at work, home, school — and if you’re into gaming — while you’re on your couch playing your favorite first-person shooters. While we use a number of industry standard benchmarks such as Geekbench and 3DMark , we mostly focus on real-world testing methods that we’ve developed internally.
To test battery runtime of a laptop, we use the Laptop Mag Battery test, which surfs the web at 150 nits of brightness until the system runs out of juice. To judge pure processing power, we use a giant spreadsheet macro that matches 65,000 names with their addresses, a video transcoder that converts a 4K video to 1080p and the Geekbench 4 synthetic test. We measure graphics prowess with both 3DMark Ice Storm / Fire Strike and a series of actual game titles.

Rog Zephyrus G14 2022
The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop range has been a big success for Asus, with fans taking to the gaming laptop thanks to its ultra-portable design. Asus will be refreshing the G14 for 2022, with improved specs and small tweaks to the design.
Firstly, the ROG Zephyrus G14 2022 will be packing a brand new Ryzen 9 6900HS CPU and Radeon RX 6800S mobile GPU from AMD. DDR5 memory will be supported, with it climbing as high as 16GB. But DDR4 RAM options will also be included for those who want to save money.
